Our tour of the first two gorges takes us past sheer rock walls and requires a short walk to reach the second gorge.

We enjoyed our day trip to Katherine Gorge and Edith Falls and especially thanks to our driver who had a knowledge of the area and kept us informed along the way of interesting points and history of various places.
Even though we knew we were in for a long day of travelling, the bus was comfortable and we had various stops which helped.
I would recommend AAT Kings as everything was run accordingly

Very enjoyable trip - well organised, fun and driver very informative.

We very much enjoyed the Katherine Gorge & Edith falls tour, but disappointed we could only get through 2 gorges( instead of 3) - no fault of tour operator - due to seasonally low water levels in gorge.

Fabulous day and highly recommend. Comfortable bus and courteous driver. Emerald Springs roadhouse, what a gem and serving delicious home cooked food and real coffee. Well done.
Edith falls and Katherine Gorge were sensational and should not be missed.
Overall great experience.

Enjoyed the whole tour. The stopover for breakfast was good and the serve of bacon and eggs very welcomed. The first stopover at the rock pool was very interesting. The highlight is the Katheirne Gorge itself with beautiful sceneries and a bit of mystique about the gorge. The walk and the two boat rides were fantastic. The bus driver and the boat captain were both excellent.

Couldn't fault the tour or the driver who was very professional knowledgeable and fun. We both had a great day.
We also did the 2day tour to kakadu the week before with Aussie adventures and Ben was our tour guide. Ben was a great tour guide we really enjoyed our two days with him. Both of the tour guides were a Credit to your company.

Modern coach, knowledgeble driver, spectacular scenery, great guide on boat into Katharine Gorge, didn't get to swim in Edith Falls, but that's because of the movement of the crocs in the wet season. Very enjoyabe and unforgettable trip, and would recommend same to friends.

The bus was comfortable, the driver was a brilliant driver and an entertaining speaker. Man it was hot at Katherine Gorge! And apparently we should be calling it by its aboriginal name of 'Nitmiluk' - what a great name! I'd go again in the dry season. ntstandby - Dino - best service EVER from a travel agent. Thank you for the emails & MSGs.

Had a great day with my family, apart from the lunch provided, set up was shocking. Was at the end of the que with my children and it took 25 minutes for everyone in front of us approx 40 people to get theres, everyone just barges in like they have never been fed. (only get around half hour to eat) when we did get our meal we got the scraps, basically all gone. And had approx 5 minutes to eat.

A very long day made all the more enjoyable by the commentary and humour of our driver. Well done to him.
Edith falls was a bit "ho hum" but the guided cruise through the Katherine Gorge enjoyable and the scenery impressive.
If an option was added to fly back as with the AAT Kings Kakadu trip, we would have taken it.

Katherine Gorge was amazing - definitely worth the trip. I plan on going back in dry season as well :D The AAT Kings driver was great, and it was a most enjoyable coach trip.

Great bus driver and bus trip, apart from small altercation at Katherine between bus and awning in the car park......which was dealt with effectively whilst we were on the cruise.
Excellent cruise and scenery.....ALL IN ALL great day out.

What a great day-tour experience. Great Coach and a very knowledgeable and interesting driver who told us many stories in a relaxing and lighthearted manner.
The Katherine Gorge is a not-to-be-missed experience when visiting Darwin and we found NTStandby people are very good and flexible people to deal with.

This trip is a long day but is well worth doing. The swim at Edith Falls is a must. The cruise up the 2 gorges was so relaxing with a delicious lunch. The fruit salad after the hot walk between gorges was appreciated. The coach driver was a ton of fun. Well done AAT Kings

Totally wonderful experience. AAT Kings is a professional company, informative driver and comfortable coach for this long trip. We weren't looking forward to a rerun of yesterdays bad APT experience with a worn out bus and celf centred driver. Make sure it is AAT Kings.

This was an excellent experience. The tour guide (driver) was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The Gorge & Falls & crocs were fantastic.
It's a very tiring day. Pickup around 6am and we got back at 9pm.The lunchtime meal included was lovely but the stop off for tea was limited to one thing and very expensive. We opted for a pkt chips & a coldie. Wear comfortable shoes & drink lots of water.

Fantastic day. Great guide and good value for money.

Lovely relaxed day by tour bus. Disappointed by not swimming at Edith Falls, but understand about crocs. Only one level at Katherine Gorge, but well compensated by swim at waterfall
Reviewed by: Regina, March 2010

I must say this was not what I expected. Although the ride in the bus was fun with a great driver. The length of the trip was forever long and the sights of Edith falls was disappointing as a small overflow peeked over the rocks..The Gorge trip was short and un-eventfull..We did get a few good pics. but I must say the most exciting thing for me were the bats in the trees as we departed the dock..
Reviewed by: james, March 2010

Totally excellent. Highly recommended. Despite someone crashing into the bus (not AAT Kings fault), the glitch was handled smoothly and professionally and we all had a great time.
