Itinerary Day 1: Welcome to Alice Springs
On arrival in Alice Springs you'll be transferred to your hotel (flights anytime).
Hotel: Ibis Styles Alice Springs Oasis (Budget), Aurora Alice Springs (Standard), Lasseters Hotel (Superior) or Chifley Alice Springs Resort (First Class), Alice Springs.
Day 2: Alice Springs – Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Uluru Barbecue Dinner
Travel from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort stopping to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner). This evening watch a outback sunset at Uluru while enjoying complimentary wine before travelling to our exclusive venue for a barbecue dinner and stargazing (weather permitting).
Hotel: Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget), Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert Gardens Hotel (Superior) or Sails in the Desert Hotel (First Class), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights.

Day 3: Uluru Sunrise and Base Tour – Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
Watch the sun rise at Uluru, then join your guide for a drive around the base of Uluru. Travel by coach to the Mutitjulu Walk. View Aboriginal rock art, learn about the Anangu people and see the Mutitjulu Waterhole. Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. This afternoon tour to Kata Tjuta and enjoy a 2-3 hour walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout (shorter walk available).
Day 4: Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Kings Canyon – Alice Springs
An early start from Ayers Rock Resort should reward you with a desert sunrise en route to Kings Canyon. In Watarrka National Park you can make the rocky climb to the rim of the canyon and be rewarded with breathtaking views of the park and into the canyon itself. The climb is recommended for those with a good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the boulder strewn canyon floor, an easier shady walk. Travel on to Alice Springs.

Fitness Level Low level of fitness required for Uluru base walk. Base walk is a one hour (approximately) gentle walk on flat ground. Good level of fitness is required to climb Uluṟu. Good level of fitness required for Kings Canyon. There is a three hour walk around the canyon’s rim. Low to moderate level of fitness required for the canyon floor walk.
