Morning of day 3 at Ayers Rock
Day 1: Welcome to Uluṟu (Ayers Rock) - Sounds of Silence Dinner
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be transferred to the resort (flights to arrive prior to 3.00pm).
This evening dine under a million stars at the award-winning Sounds of Silence Dinner. Enjoy a gourmet buffet of Australian delicacies accompanied by fine Australian wines, then sit back and relax as a startalker takes you on a tour of the night skies (conditions permitting).
Hotel: Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget), Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert Gardens Hotel (Superior) or Sails in the Desert Hotel (First Class), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights.

Day 2: Uluṟu (Ayers Rock) - Kata Tjuṯa (the Olgas)
Rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre and Uluru alight. Later, join your guide for a drive around the base of Uluru then travel to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. Here view Aboriginal rock art and learn about the area as your Driver Guide indicates native flora and fauna and explains the history of Uluru. Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to see locally- made arts and crafts.
This afternoon travel to the mystical domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Visit Walpa Gorge where the walking trail through the gorge follows the natural creek bed between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta. Enjoy nibbles and complimentary wine while watching striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset.
Day 3: Farewell from Uluṟu (Ayers Rock)
This morning time is available for an optional scenic helicopter flight or perhaps a Harley Davidson Ride around Uluru.
This afternoon you will be transferred from your hotel to Ayers Rock Airport for your onward flight.

What To Bring
Dress in the Northern Territory is usually casual, so bring comfortable, casual clothing. Remember, in the southern part of the ‘Territory’ – i.e. Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Alice Springs – nights in winter (May to August) can be cold, frosts do occur and occasionally a cold wind blows, so bring warm clothing to suit. The days are usually sunny and warm. Remember to bring strong, non-slip walking shoes. Bring hats, sunglasses, a Camera, water bottle & sunscreen.
