Itinerary
Depart Sydney to arrive in Adelaide aboard the world famous 'Indian Pacific'.

Day 1: Wednesday
Indian Pacific: Join the mighty
Indian Pacific in Sydney. Settle in to
your private cabin or meet your fellow
travellers in the Outback Explorer
Lounge. (D)

Day 2: Thursday
Broken Hill and Adelaide:
Explore Broken Hill on an off train
Explore and Discover Stop before
reboarding the Indian Pacific to
Adelaide. On arrival in Adelaide,
transfer to the Hotel Grand Chancellor
Adelaide on Hindley. (BL)

Day 3: Friday
Adelaide and Mannum:
This morning is yours at leisure. Mid
afternoon transfer to Mannum, the
birthplace of the Murray River trade
and communication, for your cruise
aboard the PS Murray Princess. Enjoy
pre-dinner drinks and a Welcome
Dinner. As you cruise under floodlight
to your overnight mooring at Mundarra,
you may see nocturnal wildlife on the
riverbank. (BD)

Day 4: Saturday
Murray Bridge and Craignook:
In 1879 the first bridge to span the
Murray River was built at Edwards
Crossing, which quickly became the
bustling township of Murray Bridge.
After a hearty breakfast, join a guided
tour of the historic landmarks and
local attractions of Murray Bridge. This
afternoon begin your journey upriver.
Tonight moor at Craignook, where after
dinner you can enjoy being entertained
by the talented crew. (BLD)

Day 5: Sunday
River View Lodge: All ashore for
a guided nature walk where your
guide will share the secrets of the
local flora and fauna. Itís a great way
to get in a little exercise before PS
Murray Princess departs for the big
river gorges and 90 metre cliffs of
the upper river. In the afternoon, head
downriver to River View Lodge where
your discovery vessel awaits for a
backwater wildlife tour. Travelling in
small, personalised groups explore
the maze of the river and the amazing
birdlife. This evening join the Captain
and Officers for pre-dinner drinks and
the finale Captainís Dinner and Dance.

Day 6: Monday
Mannum and Adelaide: After
breakfast, PS Murray Princess arrives
at Mannum where you reluctantly
say farewell before transferring back
to Adelaide and the Hotel Grand
Chancellor Adelaide on Hindley. (B)

Day 7: Tuesday
Adelaide: Today is free to enjoy at
leisure. Why not visit the seaside
suburb of Glenelg, shop in Rundle Mall
or simply relax in the comfort of your
hotel. (B)

Day 8: Wednesday
Adelaide: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
before checking out. (B)

One night on board the Indian Pacific,
Gold Service private cabin, m
Three nights accommodation in Adelaide.
Three night cruise on the PS Murray
Princess including all meals,
accommodation (outside cabin),
on-board spas, saunas and exercise
deck. Guided nature walks, Aboriginal

What To Bring
Due to cabin space constraints, it is recommended guests take an Ďovernight bagí containing all requirements for their journey with them in their cabin and check-in all other luggage. Guests are permitted to check-in a maximum 40kg luggage free of charge (2 items not exceeding 20kg each).
Note: Checked-in luggage cannot be accessed during the journey.

Child fares are available to children 4-15 years of age (inclusive) or where a child occupies a seat or berth. Infants travel free on Great Southern Rail services unless the infant is to occupy a seat or berth. In this case the infant is to be booked as a child and the Child fare applies.
