Day 1: Saturday or Wednesday
Indian Pacific: Join the mighty Indian
Pacific in Sydney. Settle in to the
comforts of this great train, enjoy a
drink in the Outback Explorer Lounge
and meet your fellow travellers as you
journey overnight. (D)

Day 2: Sunday or Thursday
Broken Hill and Adelaide: Explore
Broken Hill on an off train Explore and
Discover Stop before reboarding the
Indian Pacific for the remainder of your
journey to Adelaide. Transfer to Crowne
Plaza Adelaide, your base for the next
two nights. (BL)

Day 3: Monday or Friday
Adelaide: Today is free for you to
enjoy Adelaide at leisure. Take in a
spot of shopping in Rundle Mall, visit
the seaside suburb of Glenelg aboard
the tram or simply relax in the comfort
of your accommodation – the choice
is yours. (B)

Day 4: Tuesday or Saturday
Kangaroo Island: Make your way
to Adelaide airport this morning for
your flight to Kangaroo Island where
on arrival you will be met by your
guide. Your full day tour blends a
range of wildlife experiences with an
elegant barbecue. Take in a variety of
landscapes from Cygnet River valley
through to the north coast. Get an
introduction to Island life, where things
take time. Walk down a country track
through tall Eucalyptus trees where
koalas snooze overhead. Visit Seal Bay
Conservation Park and take in many
other sights. (BLD)

Day 5: Wednesday or Sunday
Kangaroo Island: Today explore some
of Kangaroo Island’s highlights and
lesser known backtracks of Flinders
Chase National Park, unspoilt and
diverse, it is home to a wide array of
wildlife species such as kangaroos,
wallabies, possums, goannas,
echidnas, koalas, platypus and many
birds. The drive down to Cape du
Couedic takes in some dramatic dune
country with a complex fire history
and an interesting range of vegetation
types. Visit a fur seal colony; these
animals can be observed at rest on the
rocks or frolicking in the surf under
Admirals Arch – a spectacular coastal
grotto. See Remarkable Rocks, huge
natural granite sculptures which have
been carved by relentless winds, rain
and salt from the Southern Ocean.
Return to Adelaide by air and to your
overnight accommodation at Crowne
Plaza Adelaide. (BL)

Day 6: Thursday or Monday
Adelaide: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
before checking out. (B)

Reverse Itinerary: Adelaide departs
on Monday or Friday.

Alternative Departure: Perth departs
on Wednesday or Sunday.

What To Bring
