An intimate dining experience under the outback sky
'Tali Wiru', meaning beautiful dune in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the Southern Desert sky. Instead of walls, this open-air restaurant has magnificent views of Uluru and the distant domes of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), and for music there's the stillness of the desert at night.
Relax with Champagne and canapés around a firepit while you watch the sun set. As day turns to night, stroll to the top of the dune for a table d'hote four-course dinner, matched with premium Australian wine.
The contrast between the spectacular natural setting and the world-class gastronomic adventure on your plate is simply awe-inspiring. Tali Wiru is so much more than a dining experience; it's a night you will remember for the rest of your life.
After dinner, a local storyteller will captivate you with celestial creation stories while a didgeridoo plays softly in the background.
A unique dining experience for no more than 20 guests, be seated with your partner or with your party of up to six people on an isolated dune top overlooking Uluru and the distant domes of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Your evening includes:
Unique outback setting on a private dune
Stunning views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta
Canapés & Champagne at sunset
Table d'hôte 4-course dinner with matching premium Australian wine
Coffee, tea and dessert wine
Celestial creations storie
What To Bring
We recommend guests wear comfortable smart-casual clothing and comfortable closed (walking) shoes. The dining site is set on top of a dune with a 250m gradual incline on soft sand to the top. If you're travelling in the cooler month's (May - Sept) nights can become quite crisp and cold and we recommend wearing warm clothing and a jacket.
Children 15 years and under are not catered for.
