Darwin Harbour Cruise, Darwin
Our crew will meet you at the Marina Lock gates near Lolas Pagola in Cullen Bay Marina.
Our catamarans are over 10.5m long and 6.2m wide. They are family friendly and suitable for small children. Sailing on the harbour provides a great platform for nature viewing. Cruise with the only Sailing cruise Harbour certified Ecotourism Australia Ecotourism products business
On departing the lock we sail Past Emery Point, and a small Cove where the HMS Beagle anchored many years ago. We hoist the sails and make a course for Talc Head.
The lunch tour makes a detour past Talc Head and into Woods Inlet to visit a mangrove estuary. Within the creek system we get close to a croc trap, and view the unique mangrove habitat.
Upon leaving Woods Inlet we sail back past Talc Head and join a similar journey to the sunset cruise, sailing along Weed Reef passing near the Wrecks of the USS Peary, and British Motorist towards Stokes Hill Wharf.
We then sail along the Esplanade past the Navy Base and Emery Point to Cullen Bay Marina.
Keep an eye out for the dolphins that regularly swim up close to say hello. You might also spot dugong and marine turtles.
Asian-inspired beef and chicken skewers, local fish with a native lemon myrtle coconut butter, chilled tiger prawns, potato salad and green salad, followed by a seasonal fruit platter.
Bottled red and white wine and mid-strength beer served throughout the cruise.
