Sightseeing Highlights:
Florence Falls (swimming)
Wangi Falls (swimming)
Tolmer Falls
Monsoon Forest Walk
Termite Mounds

Leaving Darwin, we follow the Stuart Highway via the township of Batchelor to Litchfield National Park. Visiting the main falls of the Park, you have the opportunity for scenic and interpretive bush and monsoon vine forest walks. View Florence Falls from a high vantage point before making your way down the stairs to the plunge pool below with an opportunity to swim. Make your way back via the monsoon forest and open woodland. Visit Tolmer Falls for a magnificent view of the water cascading down to the deep waterhole below. We venture to Wangi Falls for another opportunity for a swim in the large crystal clear pool and an optional steady climb through the rainforest to the top of the falls. During the day we stop for a buffet lunch. A great day also for taking many interesting photos, including the amazing stand of termite mounds.

Guide Steph was excellent and had a great sense of humour! Good group size and the day was very relaxing despite the heat!

Enjoyable tour. I thought morning tea was included but this wasn't the case & only lunch was included.

A comfortable day trip from Darwin to Litchfield National Park. We learnt lots about the Magnetic Termite mounds and enjoyed Florence Falls set amidst the monsoon rainforest and a swim at Wangi Falls. Our guide, Paul was enthusiastic and informative about the areas we visited.

I have been advised that AAT cost approx $25-30 more expensive as they provide better service with more comfortable bus. This is not entirely correct, we went for the tour in 21 seater coach and it is packed. We come across other tour travel which cost less travelling with same coach, not as full so there are room to move around. We would support small local business on the next trip.

great day, organised well and tour guide was excellent

The guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining. We were picked up from our hotel and delivered in time to meet the tour coach. The tourist sites we were taken to gave us a good overall picture of the attractions that Litchfield Park has to offer. Lunch was adequate but it was a pity we had to pay for our drinks. I would recommend this tour to other travellers to the Northern Territory.

We were on this tour by default, another tour cancelled. Dino hurriedly arranged an alternative which was this. We thought the tour was great, not so far and we saw a good part of Litchfield, the waterfalls.Tim the driver was also very informative. One thing, the mozzies at lunch ate more than we did!!! We appreciate the venue was undergoing renovations.

This was our first visit to the Northren Territory, and we were warned that we were going at the wrong time of year . We made our booking through the Internet, & found every thing was done very efficiently. The pick up was on time, the coach was comfortable, & clean. The driver gave a very informative & interesting comments. We would definatly recommend AAT Kings. to anyone that asks. Michael

Great way to see Litchfield, timing well calculated to allow best use of day. If AAT Kings says the trip is full, try ntstandby.com.au, because it may not be, as weird as that may seem.
