Our Kakadu trip was fantastic and our driver/guide very knowledgeable and helpful. The day ran like clockwork. Lunch was fresh and delicious. The Yellow Water Cruise was great. Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience.

We thought the tour of Kakadu well worth the money even though there was an extra $25 per person to enter the park. The Rock Art was fascinating and the commentary accurate and interesting. The best part for us was the boat trip on the Yellow Waters where we saw two crocodiles, one swimming very close to the boat which made a great photo shot, and a lovely white chested Sea Eagle.

We had a most enjoyable day. Commentary was excellent, lunch tasty, morning and afternoon tea stops adequate....all over we were glad we did this tour. The coach was clean and comfortable and the fact that the coach driver kept the water up to us meant no dehydration, his reminders kept us drinking. We took advantage of the flight over Kakadu and the driver made this process easy for us also.

Second time I've glided over the 'Yellow Waters' on a flat bottom boat (Cruise) - this beautiful area of Kakadu was again memorable for it's peacefulness, water-flowers, birdlife (the incredible and distinctive Jabirus), turtles, fish and crocs. The commentary was once again very informative - this tour is not to be missed!

This tour is much more than an all day bus ride.!! It is a cultural and ecological experience, you come away from this trip to Kakadu, more enlightened and informed on the land, its people, the aquatic life and bird life that inhabit this area.
Our tour guide/driver, Sheldon, was an absolute font of knowledge, professional, courteous, and respectful .Highly recommend.!!

AAT Kings were absolutely brilliant. The driver guides were exceptional & I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone.
Made my two days of sightseeing something I won't forget.

BACKPACKERS AVOID! ->AAT Kings kakadu day tour is not necessarily bad. It's only that one day visit means rushing through the attractions and lunch and lots of sitting in bus. Most of the people were +40 or seniors, so it's maybe not good for backpackers and young people. Also the group size is too big. Positive things: Yellow waters cruise and tour guide who had lots of insight and good stories.

I really enjoyed the rock painting walk and also to the top of walk with a great view of the rock outcrop that looked like a lizard. The viewing of the corcodiles was interesting. Enjoyed the lunch though.

Good but not great - an hour wasted on hotel pickups etc. as you don't depart Darwin til 7am. Ask if you can meet at Interchange instead. Nourlangie was great, but slow. Lunch was good but due to running behind we had about 15 minutes to eat once we'd collected our lunch from buffet. The Yellow River Cruise was the highlight. A good tour but AATKings could reassess their schedule.

We really enjoyed our day trip to Kakadu. There were many highlights including our early morning breakfast stop at the Bark Hut, the Yellow Water cruise, with croc sightings, the Warradjan Cultural centre and rounding the day off at Ubirr in the late afternoon. All this was complimented with much information from our friendly guide, Brad.

A great day out at Kakadu as the tour was very well organised from start to finish. The driver had a great awareness of the tour and was very knowledgeable around the entire area. The lunch was fantastic as we were spoilt for choices that was a great time to sit down at Cooinda LOdge and enjoy the lunch with the group in a relaxed setting. I would recomend this tour to everyone. Well done AAT King

Good tour. Very comfortable large bus. Limited by having 55 some of whom had limited mobility. I would have liked the option of walking further to see other rock paintings.
Flight was good but could not hear the commentary from Pilot - could be fixed I think.
When we tried to confirm on Satdy avo there was no answer or machine, so were wondering if we had to confirm

The 2 here goes to the guide. He qas fantastic. To start with my patner and i were moved off tge big aatkings bus that our family members were on and moved to a small bus of darwin day tours. We did not see our family members all day amd on the bus we didnt even get to sit together so was very unahppy with this. Then our bus broke down. We were 3.5 hrs late home. I think the tour is over charged.

A great day was experienced by our school group. Staff were helpful when booking and the staff on the day tour were very friendly and informative. The iced water on board the bus was a lifesaver during the day and the buffet lunch was excellent. The day tour was certainly worthwhile doing. The only comment I have was we were waiting at the bus terminal for too long in the morning before departing.

Kevin our driver was able to answer all questions, amazing experience, aboriginal paintings over 5000 years old, so much cultural history learnt. The only small hiccup though although minor was the stop at roadhouse at Adelaide River on way home, the variety of food available wasn't great, but did not spoil the Kakadu experience.

I love every moment of my trip to Kakadu. The place is in the world heritage list which makes it doubly exciting to visit. Then, the driver/tour guide, Sheldon, is very good and so knowledgeable and made me know more interesting facts about the places we passed by, all the way from the start of the trip and ultimately, to Kakadu. I wouldn't have appreciated the trip so much without Sheldon.

Informative commentry on the way out spoiled by the driver who seemed very aggresive. Included lunch was fine the yellow waters crusie was the highlight a fantastic guide with a great attitude. A long day no drinks allowed on bus by driver? Guess it boils down to who you get on the day Nice bus comfortable seats

Due to limited time, I could only book a day trip. I felt rushed at the stops and there were a lot more people on the tour for my liking. But given that it was only a day trip and there was a lot of driving time, the tour did a good job of showcasing the highlights of Kakadu. So it is a suitable tour for a day trip.

Bus driver great, had a great perspective on Kakadu, the aboriginal history and current issues and aboriginal customs and traditions. Lunch was simple, but very tasty and plentiful. Yellow Water tour a delight, our guide Reuben, was a wealth of information & passionate and witty. Only downer was organised chaos at beginning & end re AAT bus pickups & drop offs.

Enjoyed the yellow river billabong cruise and buffet lunch. Unfortunately there was some kind of hotel pick up era on the day so we had to go back to pick up another passenger which then made us late for everything for rest of day. We were rushed at the rock paintings to try and make up time. A bit disappointing for me as this was one of the reasons I choose this tour.

Tour well organised. We especially liked the talk by the driver at the aboriginal drawings in Kakadu. He was very animated and involved in the ancient cultural stories.Tour was a better way to visit the area rather than self drive. Only minor disappointment was yellow water cruise at midday . I had previously been late afternoon when more bird life was present.

The bus was 30 mins late picking us up and we were late for everything due to spending seemingly hours dropping off and picking up people - we made 3 trips to Gadjudu Motel in Jabiru. Lunch was rushed into 20 mins, Nourlangie was rushed - felt the whole trip was only to make money for AAT and we spent the whole day being late and rushed despite the huge distances, saw more hotels than scenery.
