Platinum and Gold Service guests dine in our classically styled Queen Adelaide Restaurant Car. Each meal offers a choice of fine food, carefully prepared for you by our onboard chefs. Our seasonal menu features mouth-watering dishes such as saltwater barramundi and grilled kangaroo fillet.
The sheer convenience of on-call Cabin Steward Service and in-cabin menu makes this new service level a five-star travel and accommodation experience.
Gold Service - Twin Cabin
During the day, the recently refurbished Twin Berth Sleeper Cabins offer a comfortable three seater lounge, converting to an upper and lower sleeping berth at night. Your journey made even more comfortable with service from our hospitality attendant including fresh sheets, bath towels, pillows and doonas. Twin Berth Sleeper Cabins have private en suite facilities with a toilet, wash basin and shower.

Private Carriages
For the ultimate great train experience aboard Indian Pacific, travel in one of our stylish, self contained carriages.
The Chairman's Carriage is the pride of Great Southern Rail's fleet. It accommodates up to 8 guests. The Chairman's Carriage boasts a private lounge with CD player and video/DVD entertainment, a private dining room and sleeps up to eight in comfort with two Double Cabins (shared ensuite facility) and two Twin Berth Sleeper Cabins with compact ensuite Facilities.
The Sir John Forrest Carriage is named after the explorer made famous for the first crossing of Western Australia by land in 1870. Follow in his footsteps across the Nullarbor Plain, travelling in the comfort of this modern carriage. It accomodates up to 6 guests. The Sir John Forrest Carriage features large picture windows, a generous lounge area combined with a meeting room completewith boardroom table, bar, leather lounges, big screen television, video/DVD player and power point screening facilities. This carriage accommodates up to six guests in one Double Cabin and two Twin Berth Sleeper Cabins, all with compact ensuite facilities.
