Itinerary Day 1 Darwin/ Kakadu National Park
A colourful blend of frontier charm and a cosmopolitan attitude, Darwin is an exciting launch pad for a tour of Australia's Top End. After an early start from the tropical capital, venture deep into the wilderness of Kakadu National Park. Keep eyes peeled and cameras ready on a cruise down the river and spy crocodiles patrolling the waters. Be captivated by the ever-changing terrain and untamed natural beauty of Kakadu. Tour across the landscape, steeped in ancient Dreamtime history, learning how Indigenous tradition and culture has been maintained through the ages. Travel to Ubirr Rock to witness one of Australia's finest Aboriginal rock art collections and admire 360 degree-views of the region.
Day 2 Kakadu National Park/ Katherine
After breakfast, head out to explore more of the Kakadu wetlands before an energising swim in croc-free waters. Travel south to the historic gold mining centre of Pine Creek, stopping for another refreshing dip along with way - this time by the cascading Edith Falls. Settle in for the night at the historic Springvale Homestead camp and fall asleep listening to the dull chatter of the Outback at night.
Day 3 Katherine Gorge/ Mt Bundy Station
Cruise along the tranquil waters of Katherine Gorge on a boat tour or take the more adventurous option and head out by canoe. Formed by the Katherine River flowing from Arnhem Land to the Timor Sea, Katherine Gorge is simply breathtaking. Travel north across the sunbaked Outback to camp for the night at remote Mt Bundy Station - once the largest cattle station in the Top End. Enjoy some classic Northern Territory treats for dinner, perhaps a juicy crocodile or kangaroo steak.
Day 4 Litchfield National Park/ Darwin
Filled with waterholes and waterfalls, Litchfield National Park is well deserving of all its hype and the perfect place to soak up the tranquillity of the tropics. Exploring Litchfield is the perfect way to complete this tour, visiting Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and the Buley Rockholes. Stroll through steamy rainforests and cool off with a dip in one of Litchfield park's picture-perfect swimming holes. As with all good things, this Top End tour must come to an end. Hit the road and head back to Darwin to perhaps enjoy a night on the town toasting the adventure with new friends.

A wonderful experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, helpful & very friendly.
The amenities & camping sites were good & the food was plentiful & mostly fresh. Limiting the travellers to a small number was perfect we all got to know each other.
Suggestions: At Mt Bundy Station have caravan holidaymakers parked in a separate area to the tour group tents & single gender toilets would be better.

Excellent itinerary: David and Rob were great, 5*, friendly, competent, extremely well informed, sensitive to our needs and kept us out of danger; and the group really 'jelled'. Food excellent - maybe even a bit too generous? Evening wine much appreciated. Beds comfortable. Wd have given 5 rating except no lights in cabins on 2nd night, no campsite layout maps - both management issues.

The trip was fantastic! I strongly recommend the experience to anyone interested in Australian culture and nature. We came from Spain wanting to experience the Northern Territory and this travel made it possible. We had an amazing guide (Jeff) and we met great people on the tour!
Thanks for helping make our visit to Australia so great!!!

Enjoyed the tour, especially the Alligator River cruise, the Rock art, the Katherine Gorge and the waterholes! The Aboriginal guides were terrific. Also our Tour Guides Ben and Jen were very knowledgeable and looked after us very well.
Not very impressed with the Bundy Station accommodation - you need gumboots due to all the magpie geese droppings lying around everywhere!
