Oak Valley is an inspirational community boasting an olive plantation, Aboriginal rock carvings and paintings and an ancient fossil field.

Day 1 (Lunch / Dinner)
After picking you up from your accommodation in Alice Springs bright and early, we hit the road for five fantastic days of adventure and fun. (For those commencing at Uluru, we will collect you from the Outback Pioneer Hotel at 1.10pm or the airport at 2pm.)
On our way to Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park with a few stops along the way for refreshments, a camel ride (own expense) or a chance to purchase some Aboriginal paintings or artifacts. The afternoon is devoted to enjoying the sites of Uluru, including a visit to the Cultural Centre where you can learn about the Tjukurpa (Aboriginal law/religion), a full base walk or a chance to climb (weather permitting) should you choose. (Note: Uluru is a sacred site and Anangu, the indigenous custodians, respectfully ask visitors not to climb it.
It's then time to view the magnificent sunset on Uluru accompanied with a glass or two of sparkling wine before returning to the campsite for a delicious meal, a couple of drinks and time to sit back to contemplate the day's events.

Our private campsite at Kings Creek is miles from the crowds, which is where the feeling of ‘wayoutback’ really starts to take hold. After a campfire dinner it's time to kick back and be mesmerised by the millions of stars on display.
