Itinerary -Emu Run collect you from your Alice Springs accommodation at 6am, then a light breakfast onboard our comfortable coach then stop at Erldunda Roadhouse and Aboriginal Art Display.
We travel along the Luritja Road towards Kings Canyon. On arrival enjoy a deliciously prepared lunch, then a 3 hour Guided Rim Walk (though if weather conditions are over 35 degree celsius or if the group prefers we can opt to do a base walk and visit Kathleen Springs instead)
A breathtaking walk around the rim of the canyon allows you to gaze down in awe at the sandstone chasm plunging 270 metres below to the canyon floor. Venture down into the depths of the chasm, and you'll discover luxuriant cycads around the permanent waterhole in the exotic Garden of Eden. Explore the eerie, beehive-shaped rock formations, appropriately called the Lost City.
Travel back to Erldunda for dinner, and reminisce with new friends-then travel in coach comfort to Alice Springs returning approx midnight in cooler months and 1.00am warmer months.
