We are local who like to promote local and when we have interstate visitors we like to book a charter. This time was no different and I booked for the 4 of us on off shore as I know from the locals that the harbour "is fished out". The crew were fantastic and would rate them at 4 but as for the fish they were not around and nor have they been on our last 3 trips. Not good for your repeat business

We took a long weekend trip from SEQld to Darwin for my 50th Birthday
and choose Arafura Bluewater Charters five hour offshore charter on
the day. I caught a 14kg black jewfish which made my birthday. The crew
were tremendous and couldn't do enough for us as well as Tackleworld
Darwin who froze my fish for the trip home. Quick and easy to book
and everything provided and prepaid for.

Fishing wise was bad. 1 take home fish amongst 13-14 people. Fishing on 'farm reefs' for small fish (50gm). Boat was cramped therefore making fishing cramped and plenty of tangled lines. On the way back, the genius deckhand decided to clean boat on the way back with BLEACH. Spraying bleach on guests and ruining their clothes...no apology/refund/reduction. Worst ever charter boat experience!
