Darwin
Darwin in the capital of the Northern Territory. Its rich, diverse history is dominated by Cyclone Tracey (which decimated the town on Christmas Day 1974) and the 1942 World War 2 bombing of Darwin. Uluru
Uluru (also known as Ayers Rock) is Australia's most recognised natural wonder. Uluru stands at almost 350 metres high and has a circumference of over 9 kms. It is located 440 kms south-west of Alice Springs. Uluru is a unique and beautiful place, a World Heritage Area for both its cultural and natural values. Uluru is sacred and has great cultural significance to the Anangu traditional owners. Kata Tjuta (also known as The Olgas) is found 30 kms west of Uluru. It is a group of spectacular red domes (some over 500 metres high). Kata Tjuta is the Aboriginal name meaning 'many heads'. Uluru tours and Kata Tjuta tours are available from Ayers Rock Resort or Alice Springs.
Kakadu
Situated 250 km East of Darwin, Kakadu provides a variety of unique experiences. Boasting 280 species, or a third of Australia ’ s bird species, Kakadu is a haven for bird life, the Yellow Water Cruise providing an excellent opportunity for birds and crocodile spotting. Kakadu boasts outstanding opportunities to view Aboriginal Rock art, dating back up to 40,000 years ago. Aboriginal cultural tours and cruises are accessible from Kakadu. The South Alligator, East Alligator and Yellow Water billabong also provide an opportunity to catch the famed sportfish, the barramundi. Kakadu tours are available from Kakadu or Darwin. Self drive trips are also possible.

Alice Springs
Alice Springs. Central Australia ’ s historic and iconic outback town. Discover Alice Springs and its surrounds with a serene sunrise balloon flight, an exhilarating outback quad bike, a Harley or even a camel ride. Surrounding attractions include the Desert Park, School of the Air, Royal Flying Doctor, Standley Chasm, Simpsons Gap, Palm Valley and Chambers Pillar. Alice Springs offers an ideal base to visit Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and the East and West MacDonnell Ranges. Half, one day or multiple day tours depart Alice Springs, alternatively hire a car or 4WD and self drive and experience Alice Springs and its surrounding natural wonders.
Litchfield
Dominated by waterfalls, Litchfield National Park provides outstanding opportunities to swim in the Northern Territories spectacular water holes and waterfalls. With its furthest point being 165 kms from Darwin, Litchfield provides an ideal day trip with a Litchfield tour or hire a car (or 4WD) for a self drive trip from Darwin. Litchfield boasts both excellent off road 4WD opportunities allowing you to 'get off the track' as well of offering easy access where you can literally step out of your bus/car and be a short walk to Buley or Wangi Falls. Some Litchfield tours incorporate a visit to the Adelaide River Jumping crocodiles cruise too. Longer trips can incorporate Kakadu and/or Katherine.
Nitmiluk
Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge) boasts a 13 gorge system which are accessible to the visitor. Opportunites to see Katherine Gorge include 2 hour, 4 hour and 8 hour cruises, half, full day and overnight canoeing trips. Spectacular helicopter flights can allow you to appreciate Nitmiluk by air or a variety of walks can take you the Southern or Northern Rock hole and beyond. The 4-5 day “ Jatbula Trail ” also allows an outstanding opportunity for the adventurer to experience the Top End and visit the remote and spectacular Biddlecombe, Crystal, 17 mile Falls and more. Multiple day canoeing trips on Katherine River are also available. One day Katherine Tours from Darwin are also available.
